An oil painter recognized for her ability to sensitively bridge the realms of realism and abstraction, Ma’ayan has exhibited widely and nationally during the past eleven years. Her most recent solo exhibition of work was at the JKlaynberg Gallery in Chelsea, NY. In 2011 her paintings — recognized for their innovative form and assertive use of color, will be featured at the acclaimed Marrache Fine Art in Jerusalem. Ma’ayan is a recipient of the Marchutz Study Grant and the McDowell Travel Grant, both of which helped to further her artistic vision as she studied and painted extensively throughout Europe. Her work also holds a prominent place in numerous public and private collections.
